Mother Goose sits on her Goose all ready to tell a story or a tale to all those who will be still and listen.
She is all decked out in her best attire...a beautiful green dress with lace trim and a white scarf pinned with a red silk rose. Her skirt was wet felted and she has a lace petticoat that shows ever so slightly. Her hair is in ringlets that peek out from under her stylish hat that is also embellished with red silk roses. She is wearing her best stripped socks with her buckle shoes.
Mother Goose is a seperate piece from her goose. The figure is 12" tall and totally sculpted from 100% wool over a wire armature so she is totally posable. She does not, however, stand on her own. She would require a doll stand to hold her upright without falling over.
Her Companion, The Goose, Is 10" high and 12" Long. He also has been felted over an armature so his neck and feet are posable.

She would be a wonderful addition to any collection or as a fun decorative piece in a child"s room. She is not intended to be a toy although she would hold up well with an older child.
